A Utilibot is a robot that appears in Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure! that can help a Chibi-Robo get to hard-to-reach places. Utilibots are built when a Chibi-Robo places Scrap they've collected into the Recyclotron located in their Chibi-House. The Recyclotron will produce a Utilibot and Telly Vision will place it in the right spot. There are three types of Utilibots: Ladder Utilibots help Chibi-Robo get to higher places, Bridge Utilibots which help Chibi-Robo get to places farther away, and Warp Utilibots which allow instant transportation between two points.
Ladder Utilibots[]
A Ladder Utilibot is a Utilibot that a Chibi-Robo can raise or lower to climb heights. It is the first type of Utilibot available. Ladder Utilibots can be put in the Living Room on the floor near the Chibi-House, on the floor in the Foyer near the stairs, and on the counter in the Kitchen near the location of the Spoon.
Warp Utilibots[]
A Warp Utilibot is a type of Utilibot that can transport Chibi-Robo to far away places. Unlike other Utilibots, Warp Utilibots come in pairs. By using one Utilibot, Chibi-Robo will be warped to the other one. There are two sets found in the Sandersons' House. One set is placed in the Foyer and allows Chibi-Robo to warp between the two floors. This is a great deal faster than using the stairs and also uses up less energy. The other set is found in the Basement. Like the other set, it is used to quickly travel to the top or bottom of the stairs.
Bridge Utilibots[]
A Bridge Utilibot is a Utilibot that helps Chibi-Robo reach far away platforms and cross dangerous gaps. There are three Bridge Utilibots found in the Sandersons' House. The first is in the Living Room, on top of the cabinet right of the television. The second is in the Kitchen, next to the planter. The last Bridge Utilibot is in the Bedroom in the rafters.
Sticker[]
The first Utilibot available is the Living Room Ladder Utilibot. After building it, the Kitchen and Foyer Ladder Utilibots will become available. After both of them are built, the Recyclotron will shut off and become inaccessible until Chibi-Robo reaches the second floor of the Foyer, at which point it will become accessible again, and the Foyer Warp, Living Room Bridge, and Kitchen Bridge Utilibots will be available. After the Living Room and Kitchen Bridge Utilibots are built, the Bedroom Bridge and Basement Warp Utilibots will become available. When the final Utilibot is built, Telly Vision will tell Chibi, "Congratulations! You've built all of the Utilibots! That's no small task, y'know! Mmm? Wow! The Utilibots sent you a gift! They say it's a token of their appreciation!" and the Utilibots will give Chibi-Robo 100 Happy Points and the Utilibot Sticker.
Trivia[]
- If a Utilibot is placed in front of a plug, Chibi-Robo will be unable to use that plug for recharging until the Utilibot is moved out of the way.
- If Chibi-Robo uses the Squirter Chibi-Tool to spray Oil on a Utilibot, the Utilibot will give Chibi 10 Happy Points.
